PRESENTATION GALLERY : Attilio Cecchetto Antiquario
Attilio Cecchetto began his career more than forty years ago, when he opened the first gallery of antiques in Castelfranco Veneto, a charming town near Treiso, and a few years later he opened the second art gallery in the heart of the historic centre of Asolo. In 2021, giving space to his passion, he decided to gather the collection of works of art in a new large gallery in San Vito di Altivole, inside a historic eighteenth-century villa, where Carlo Scarpa, one of the most famous and important Italian architects of the twentieh century, studied and worked. Attilio Cecchetto has been a longtime member of the Italian Antiques Association, and partecipates in the most important exhibitions in Italy, always looking for works of art and rare objects of excellent manufacture and origin. He is an expert on Venetian artists and painters, specialized in 18th century Venetian furnishings and lacquered wood.
