Beautiful and elegant small Commode in rosewood, lemon and rosewood opening by two drawers with inverted curves.
A marquetry in butterfly wings and cartouche characteristic of the decorative game of this cabinetmaker, provided with a very beautiful gilded bronze trim to the original mercury very finely chiseled.
Its original marble top with a corbin beak is a marble called royal red.
Louis XV period furniture, of Parisian origin stamped Jean-Baptiste Detroulleau, hallmark of Jurande, circa 1760, 18th century.
In perfect condition.
Private collection, remained in the same family.

History :
Jean-Baptiste Detroulleau was received as Master on October 5, 1767.
He established himself on the rue de Charonne and left Louis XV and Louis XVI furniture with pure forms and decorations plated with butterfly wings in filleted frames. After the death of this craftsman, his widow continued his activity on rue du Parc-Royal in the Marais.
