Three parrots wall lights – Maison Baguès

House Baguès.
Wall lights with vase and parrot.
Two small models and one large model.
Gilded and aged metal, cut glass.
Around 1950.
Big one : H. 55 cm.
Pair of little ones : H. 42 cm.

Founded in 1840 and still in business, the Baguès house has never ceased to design lighting fixtures of the highest quality in Paris, and became a must at the end of the 19th century. The greatest designers and decorators of the time are listed in the order books: Jansen, Raymond Subes, Armand Albert Rateau. These parrot sconces are among the most famous creations of this house.
