This excellent chair carpenter, who lived on rue de Cléry, is best known as an attaché to the service of the Crown's furniture repository, for which he worked from 1777 on. That is to say essentially for all his production of Louis XVI style. It is the time when under the high direction of the sculptor Hauré, who directs all the programs of the furniture storehouse, the royal orders occupy a large part of his time.
