Directoire period clock, in gilt bronze on an oval base in white marble. The skeletal movement is inserted in a lyre-shaped support decorated with blue enamelled plates. The preparatory drawing of this clock is by the bronze worker Jean Simon DEVERBERIE. The dial bears the inscription: Deverberie Rue Barbette No. 483 in Paris. France. Dimension: HxL 42x21 cm.
