L.T.: 300mm - L. of the barrel: 160mm.
Revolver with central percussion. Caliber 10,8mm. Cylinder six shots.
Barrel with sides, striped, state mirror; bronzed, engraved on the top DEVISME A PARIS. White polished, six-chambered cylinder of 11mm caliber, double-stamped DV and engraved with the initials AF interlaced.
Bicolor frame, stamped DEVISME Bte and serial number 1064; stamped DV circled on the bottom.
Plates of stick out of waxed and finely squared wooden. The cap, out of case-hardened steel, receives a screwed cap-pusher.
Case in acajou. Cover with brass escutcheon lock with its key.
Interior trim in dark green velvet marked in gold "DEVISME 36 BOULEVARD DES ITALIENS ARQUEBUSIER BRÉVETÉ A PARIS". It is furnished with its original accessories, a primer box.
Louis-François DEVISME was born on July 9, 1806 in Paris, he made his apprenticeship in the harquebuserie with a former worker of Nicolas Boutet: Jean-Louis Deboudert. In 1830 Deboudert leaves the succession of his store to the son Devisme who directs his production towards the weapon of hunting and the boxes of pistols of duel of great quality of completion.
