Charming pair of wooden tripod candlesticks of the Louis XIII period.
The base is round and the turning of the shafts is called "baluster". In an excellent state of preservation, both have their iron riveted spikes and the original cups that were used to hold the candles. The clean lines and the patina of the walnut give this pair a very elegant look and a perfect harmony.
