Emile Gallé - Very large Art Nouveau vase with irises

Exceptional art nouveau vase by the Gallé establishments,
in opalescent glass, multilayer, engraved with the acid.
Decorated with yellow water irises.
The extreme fineness of the engraving at the level of the delicate flowers, allows to express their transparency, as well as their movement.
The strongly opalescent background gives this vase an extraordinary luminosity, and illustrates a sunny atmosphere.
The oval shape of the decoration expresses itself on a beautiful surface.
Diameter at the neck: 13 cm, diameter at the base 16 cm, dimensions of the body of the vase: 18 x 23 cm.
