Large earthenware dish of MOUSTIERS, oval shape with contoured edge. Decorated in full with the great fire, in green monochrome, known as "with the grotesques", comprising:
A bird on a terrace, the head on the ground, holding an insect in its beak.
An Indian holding a bow, preparing to shoot an arrow, a dog at his side, on a wooded terrace.
A bird in flight, holding its meal between its claws, a butterfly nearby.
A bird, wings spread and head turned, observing an insect.
A standing figure, dressed in a long robe on a leafy terrace.
A seated donkey playing a harp, a butterfly resting on the instrument, a servant with an umbrella at his side.
A standing figure playing the mandolin, a gentleman wearing glasses and smoking a pipe listening to him.
The whole in an environment of insects and butterflies, with on the wing four flowery mounds interspersed with leafy stems. Green fillets bordered by manganese lines on the edge, one of which is wolf's tooth.

Very good condition, a chip in the edge on the reverse, small chips and chips in the edge, no restoration.
