Beautiful pair of half-moon shaped consoles, in finely carved and gilded oak wood.
The crosspieces with openwork decoration of laurel leaves in frames of heart stripes, are embellished with falling garlands of roses.
The two fluted spindle legs and roughened with asparagus are finished with flower dice, they are connected to each other by a spacer decorated with interlacing friezes, surmounted by a bouquet of flowers in a cassolette.
Original marble top, flanders red, with Greek cutout.
Good condition, original gilding with scattered retouching, customary restorations.
Parisian work from the Louis XVI period around 1780.
