Rare Louis XVI secretairy of rectangular shape in lacquer with black background and gilded decoration of Chinese dreamlike landscapes with characters, rocks, pagodas. It is framed with bronzes. The slightly curved sides are also decorated with rocks and pagodas. The flap reveals an interior inlaid with cubes on the drawers, the two doors allow access to interior drawers. Aleppo breccia marble top. Stamped by RUBESTUCK. Eighteenth century. W 79 D 39 H 132 cm
