Early-1800s (Georgian era) French miniature portrait pendant in a 18k gold case frame with glass and mother of pearl back.
The frame dates from the French Restauration period (1814-1830) with a classical feuillage design in two tone golds.
The miniature depict a beautiful young lady showing her breast in a half nude pose. Her hairstyle is from the late 18th century with a strong resemblance with Comtesse Du Barry, while her outfit reminds the one worn by Madame de Pompadour as Diane. Her face is delicate, with voluptuous lips and a joyfully expression.
The painting is made with excellence and the mount is equally fabulous.
Both are in excellent condition as shown.
