Imposing Japanese bronze koro vase with a circular base sustained by masks depicting four karashishi with a long opened mouths that act as a leg and support.
The baluster vase with two handles in the shape of dragon Ryu and with a double reserve engraved in bas-relief with a naturalistic scene on one side and with two samurai on the other, the grip of the lid with a Shi-shi.
The vase is entirely engraved and worked with honeycomb motifs and geometric decorations along the edges.
Meiji period late 19th century
