An elegant chest of drawers in rosewood and amaranth marquetry with three rows of drawers. The top row is composed of three small drawers inlaid with quatrefoils and geometric figures. A chiseled and gilded bronze mold adorns the crosspiece which separates the upper row from the large intermediate drawer. The bottom drawer is adorned with a chased and gilded bronze apron.
It rests on four arched legs ending in gilded bronze clogs. The straight uprights topped with gilt bronze falls are inlaid with simulated amaranth grooves on a rosewood background.
The large drawers and the sides are decorated with a fine queen marquetry made up of quatrefoils inserted in diamond friezes.
It is topped with a gray Sainte-Anne marble.
