François-Joseph Bertrand Paraud is a Parisian goldsmith active from 1817, he is the son-in-law of Pierre Paraud, goldsmith of the emperor.
He succeeds his widow.
Like him, he specializes in the liturgical pieces he makes for the royal family, but he is also the author of rare pairs of candlesticks, such as the example we are presenting.
