Pharmacy pillbox in Moustiers - 18th century

Rare pharmacy pillbox in MOUSTIERS earthenware, cylindrical shape with flared neck resting on a curved pedestal, topped by a ring. Decoration in blue monochrome with great fire, on the body, a cartouche with double lines with terminations with scrolls comprising the inscription " Ex. Nicotia ", surmounted by a mask with face of winged cherub bordered of scrolls. In low part, fleuron, ribbons with scales and scrolls. The neck decorated with a trellis highlighted with blue lines.
Motifs of acanthus leaves decorate the pedestal.
Period : XVIIIth century.
Workshop : CLERISSY.
Perfect condition, no restoration.
