Ewer and its basin in earthenware of VARAGES. Covered ewer baluster form with handle, resting on a pedestal, with a lid provided with a metal dustbin of origin. Basin of oval form resting on a heel, with flat catches and central shell with the overflow. Beautiful polychrome decoration on the body of the ewer and the marli of the basin of large garlands of flowers suspended and tied. Braids with scrolls decorated with scales and green nets on the edge of the lid, the neck of the ewer and the edge of the basin. The center of the basin decorated with a large bouquet of flowers.
Period : Second half of the 18th century.

Very good general condition, wear of the decoration at the bottom of the basin, no restoration.
