This lovely gold bracelet is adorned with an emerald in the center, surrounded by four baroque pearls, the central part is supported by four snake heads, their bodies intertwine, all around the wrist, to form interlacing, set in the center of small pink stones. Two have smooth bodies and the other two are covered with scales, their tails are folded, one on the other, to form the articulation of the jewel, the clasp is under the central ornamentation, it is provided with a safety chain.
The emerald is the stone of the fulfilled love, it symbolizes the hope and the renewal, as well as the snake symbol of rebirth and eternity, to offer a jewel mounted with an emerald is a very beautiful way of saying I love you and I will always love you.
From the Restoration period it is stamped, on one of the tails as well as on the clasp, with a ram's head, this hallmark is in force from 1819 to 1838. The inner wrist measures 17 cm and its gross weight is 17.5 gr.
