The triumph of Bacchus after CLODION

Silver plated bronze group representing the triumph of bacchus.

This magnificent group of sculptural figures features the Roman god of the vine and festive wine, Bacchus, a beautiful semi-nude classical maiden and a beautiful pair of cherubs one dancing while holding a tambourine and the other seated on Bacchus' shoulders during the jovial Bacchanal.
