Important lid cup made of gold-plated silver and enamel in an original leather case. The body is made of enamel and divided into three cartridges. In each cartouche there is a fine painting depicting mythological scenes, for example Meleager with the head of the Caledonian boar. On the lid a figural representation. In the base a blurred Viennese silver hallmark and the mastermark S.D.. Hairline crack restored in the pedestal.In the 19. century vienna silversmith were famous for their silver and gold works in Renaissance style.
