PAIR OF TRAVEL KNIVES

(restorations and old cracks)

This travel set includes two steel knives with cutaway backs, decorated with incised dragons on the heels and enhanced with gold in a decoration of clouds called yunqi. This same pattern is repeated on the ferrules and on the bolster for the largest knife.
The handles are made of wooden plates with six brass rivets and bone tang. 
The smaller of the two knives has a file hidden in the back bolster.

This pair is accompanied by its black morocco travel case with red velvet lining.
