Japanese 7-Cases Inro in gold lacquer - Kajikawa

Unusual inro with 7 compartments entirely lacquered gold in hira and taka maki-e and kirikane decorated with pine trees and cherry blossoms placed on hills where a stream meanders in silver lacquer. The netsuke is also rare because it represents a monkey clutching a black coral rock in its paws (rare material and rarely worked). The ojime is in cloisonné with inlays of semi-precious hard stones.
