Armchair in mahogany and mahogany veneer, the backrest decorated with a lemon tree lozenge inlaid with ebony dots. A double winding ending in a mahogany strip joins the side rails. The top of the armrests is finished with a scroll surmounted by a palmette. The squares of the four saber legs are decorated with a rosette.
This armchair was part of a set consisting of two armchairs and two chairs stamped Jacob DRMeslée corresponding to the association of François-Honoré-Georges and Georges Jacob between 1803 and 1813 sold at Sotheby's on June 16, 1990, n°935 .
