Covered butter dish in earthenware of DELFT, body of octagonal form slightly widened, provided with flat side handles moved and pierced. Take the lid in the form of stylized flower. Polychrome decoration said "Delft gilded" in the Kakiemon taste, the body and the lid decorated with branches with flowers of prunus, the lid decorated with two Chinese standing on flowered terraces.
Period : Middle of the 18th century.
Very good general condition, some chips, a small chip on a point of the lid, no restoration.
