Campan marble is a type of marble from the Campan site quarries located on the Payolle plateau (place called Espiadet) in the upper Ardour valley in the Hautes-Pyrénées. These quarries produce several varieties which are sometimes found along the same huge quarry face: Campan ribboned, Campan green, Campan pink and green, Campan grand mélange and a variety of Griotte red. All of them are recognisable by their dark green veins.
