Large Louis XV bergère stamped Cresson

Large bergère, called "corner of fire" in natural wood, carved with flowers, stamped by Michel Cresson, received Master in 1740, of L.XV period

Michel Cresson, who settled in the rue de Cléry in Paris and was received as Master in 1740, made very beautiful Louis XV chairs of ample proportions, without too much abundance of sculptures.
He supplied, among others, the Prince of Condé for his residence at the Palais Bourbon or for his castle in Chantilly.
Elements of his production can be found in the Jacquemart André Museum in Paris.
