Round barrels in table, damascus finish in ribbon, silver sight. Signed on the top in silver: "En Fer de faulx" and "Rubans damasse" Thunder stamps on each of the barrels: LC. Screwed breechblock, fully engraved.
Flat-bodied locks, signed in gold: Duchamp and A Lyon. Scroll basins plated with platinum. Bassinets and lights of the silver barrels. Engraved scroll dogs.
Iron trigger guard cut out and carved in round of hump of a winged dog.
All trimmings in cut iron and all finely engraved with hunting motifs, we find: 14 animals, landscapes, flowers and foliage. All the screws are guilloche.
Varnished walnut cheek stock carved at the handle with an animal head biting the stock, the rest of the frame is profusely carved with a basket weave, palmettes and radiating motifs. Equipped with a loop. Gold thumb piece. Engraved sole of the heel.
Very good condition. (missing the rod)
