Ridel's Portico Clock

Important portico clock of the LXVI period bearing the double signature of Ridel for the clockmaker and Coteau for the enameller.
The movement rests on two fluted columns in front and on two pilasters with volutes at the back.
An eagle on the top dominates the whole.
On either side, two vases garnished with flowers.
White and black marble.
The clock has been completely dismantled and cleaned.
Original movement, completely revised.
The bronzes are of quality, finely chiseled and gilded with mercury.
