François Théodore Devaulx (1808-1870), born September 15, 1808 in Paris, is a French sculptor.
<<< In 1823, Devaulx was a pupil of Jules Ramey (1796 - 1852) at the École des beaux-arts in Paris. He won the 2nd Prix de Rome in 1833. He participated in the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he was a member, from 1845 to 1870. He obtained a 2nd class medal there in 1849. He was buried in the Père-Lachaise cemetery. The bronze bust (1855) he made of the painter Jean-Adolphe Beaucé is visible on the latter's tomb. He performed in 1856 "amphitrite" which is located on the north facade of the Cour Carrée of the Louvre Palace in Paris. >>> wikipedia
