Ivory netsuke of a puppy signed Masamitsu

Lovely ivory netsuke very finely carved of a puppy, seated, the legs resting on a small openwork jar. The head is turned to the side. The eyes are encrusted with brown horn. The coat is nicely represented despite very fine checks visible in the photos. Signed in a cartouche under the jar Masamitsu. Edo period mid 19th century.
