Pair of armchairs "à coiffer" stamped by Jacques Chéneaux

Very rare pair of armchairs "à coiffer" with backs "en écu", in molded, carved
carved, painted and rechambered beech wood.

The upper crosspiece of the backrest is slightly indented so that the neck remains free, the armrests are recessed and the feet, spindle type, with curved flutes.

They present a painted and rechampi decoration imitating the lattice and have their original green leather cuffs and squares.
