Rider's saddle made of a wooden saddle-tree inlaid with bone inserts cut into long sections, forming geometrical friezes.
The seat is covered with embossed brown leather and maintained by a succession of rows of iron nails. The saddle quarters are trimmed with green shagreen and fitted with attachment rings.
Provenance : Former collection of the Museum of Angers.
