Beautiful hispano-moresque dish created in Manises during the XVIIth century. It displays a lustre vegetal decoration, with the peculiarity of including a central motif of a flower painted in cobalt blue, which corresponds to a Manises ornamental serie less common than the regular lustred pieces, usually not including that colour. The reverse is decorated with spiral lines.
The plate has on the reverse a made-to-measure metallic hanging system incorporated by a former collector.
In fantastic condition, preserving a great lustre.
Prov: Private ceramic collection (Valencia) since the 1970s.
