Beyond the celestial vault (acting as a base) Mercury takes Pandora to Epimetheus. Bronze group featuring an episode of mythology, signed Faure de Broussé. Late nineteenth period (around 1880), original nuanced patina with a slight wear of age, beautiful general condition. Vincent Désiré Faure de Broussé French sculptor (probable birth 1855/1908) student of Jean-jules Salmson, his works are exhibited at the Salon from 1876 to 1883 (references catalogues).
