Very beautiful inro with 5 compartments in gold and silver lacquer hira and taka maki-e.
The decor, against a background of pine shoots, particularly dense, represents foliage, branches and medallions of paulownia, matsu (pines), kiri, ume and sasanoha (bamboo leaves).
The pearl-shaped ojime is made of emerald-colored glass.
The netsuke, in deer horn and ebony, represents a wickerwork basket filled with mushrooms.
