David De Noter was a Belgian painter, who was the son and pupil of Jan-Baptist De Noter. He mainly painted still lifes with flowers, vegetables, seafood, dead poultry and fruits. But he also painted interiors and genre scenes with a strong focus on the still life aspect of the picture. De Noter painted in a very detailed realistic style with an outspoken romantic atmosphere.
