CATHERINE II, EMPRESS OF RUSSIA.
Drawing in black pencil, stump and gray wash.
Representing the left profile of the Empress Catherine The Great, laureate in trompe l'oeil imitating an oval marble bas-relief in neoclassical style.
Last third of the 18th century.
In an old wooden and gilded stucco oval frame.
Slight tears and restorations.
H. 74 x L. 60 cm.
Frame: H. 90 x L. 78 cm.
