Representing the Sun King half-length, after the canvas kept at the Palace of Versailles originally from the machine room of the Tuileries Palace in 1662 (inv. MV8347, ill. 3).
In a rectangular wooden and gilded stucco frame of Louis XIV style from the Dukes of Mouchy.
Very good condition.
