Biography :
François Galoyer (born in 1944) is a French sculptor. He studied at the Higher School of Applied Arts and at the Académie Montparnasse. He then studied with Lucien Gibert and Antoniucci Volti and spent five years working in the studio of the Joachim brothers (practicing sculptors). Exhibitor at the main fairs: the Salon of the Independents, Autumn Salon, French Artists, National of animal artists, National of Fine Arts, ... Galoyer obtained many awards there, including the Grand Prix EM Sandoz at (SNAA), the Sculpture Prize (SNBA) and a Gold Medal (French Artists).

François Galoyer is the worthy representative of animal sculpture in France, rendering by his refined work and smooth surfaces a sculpture going to the essential, closer to the animal represented. His favorite subjects are birds and wild animals.
