This gorgeous portrait bust of Diana the Huntress was sculpted by Alexandre Joseph Falguière (French, 1831-1900). First exhibited in Paris in 1882, this classical sculpture depicts a dignified and self-assured Diana gazing imperiously across one shoulder, with a bright crescent moon over her hair, symbolizing the Roman goddess of the moon and the hunt.
This sculpture was edited in different sizes. This is the larger version with a height of 59 cm
