Flat desk with mahogany and mahogany veneer box resting on four fluted legs ending in bronze shoes.
It opens with 4 drawers, one central, two in the left box and one drawer by simulating two.
Two zippers on each side.
Henri Jacob (1753-1824)
He is the cousin of Georges Jacob, received master on September 29, 1779 he settled in rue Bourbon Villeneuve.
In 1799 he set up his store 108 rue Neuve Saint Etienne at the corner of Boulevard Bonne Nouvelle until 1806 while his workshops are at 20 rue de l'Echiquier
The auction of March 16, 1800 in his store on Boulevard Bonne Nouvelle marked the end of his business. Many of the seats are described, but also of the cabinetry, most of the furniture was in mahogany, speckled and satin.
He definitively ceased his trade around 1806, from that date he no longer appeared in the trade almanac and until his death in 1824
