Movement of VINCENTI & Compagnie
Jean VINCENTI, of Corsican origin, established in Montbéliard in 1791. he founded a factory for watch blanks and clock wheels in 1823, et Cie, 1831 Roux, co-partners and successor. On her death, her business survived her and moved to Paris, rue d'Anjou au Marais in 1850, where she received the silver medal in 1855.
This production ceased around 1870. The movements manufactured by Vincenti are of superior quality, the caliber design is remarkable, all the parts are very well executed and in particular the teeth of the finely cut wheels. extract page 644
