A 19th century Fijian bow pole club in hardwood of tapering cylindrical form with a rounded pointed end and a zigzag carved grip . Made out of a tree planted by the forefathers of the first owner to obtain this massive object . The heavy two-handed war club was the favourite weapon of the Fijian warrior and consequently one of the most widely used on the battlefield.
