An english gilted lead planter, 19th century

Very nice planter with a frieze all sides. Decorations with playing angels and dogs. Lead is the very famous material in England for garden objects. It resists well to all weather conditions and gives a good atmosphere in the architecture of a garden. These planters are partly gilted on the friezes. England around 1850/60
