4-Case Inro with boxwood netsuke signed - Kajikawa + Okatomo

The decoration is in polychrome lacquer hira and takamaki-e, gold, silver and red and represents a rooster standing on a drum whose decoration imitates the veins of wood (mokume) among foliage. The other side represents a hen with her chicks. The inro is signed Kajikawa. The netsuke is finely carved in boxwood and is en-suite with the decoration of the inro, it represents a rooster. It is signed Okatomo. The ojime with decoration of cherries blossom. Meiji period: (1868-1912) Late 19th century
