Engraved and gilded copper processional cross bearing an appliqué cast and gilt bronze Christ figure. The terminals in form of quatrefoils depicting, on the left and on the right, Saint John and the Virgin, the Pelican in the upper part and the skull of Adam in the lower part. On the reverse side, a bust of Christ emerging from the tomb surrounded by the Tetramorph. Between the figurative registers, the cross is engraved with floral motifs.
The bronze corpus can be compared to that of the 14th century Sienese Processional Cross from the British Museum (1855,0731.3). The cross can be compared to the altar cross in the Casa Rodolfo Siviero Museum in Florence.
