A wooden cabinet with marquetry inlay known as "Khatam Kari", decorated with stars, geometric patterns and stylized motifs. "Khatam Kari" is a technique of inlay work that consists of making motifs with inlaid fine wooden sticks, brass and bone. The cabinet has various drawers behind the drop-leaf front and several compartments underneath its lid.
The lock is in good working order with the original key. All the brass fittings (hinges, escutcheon etc...) are original and in good condition.
