It is particularly decorated on all its faces with flowers of wisteria and birds in flight in gold and silver lacquer on a background of gold powder (nashiji).
The interior of the cabinet has three drawers of different sizes with a golden takamaki-e decoration (reliefs) of cherry blossoms on a kinji gold lacquer base. The interior of the door represents a pine and bamboo (symbols of longevity) near a rock in hiramaki-e with some golden squares (kirikane). All on a very dense background of nashiji gold powder. The handle with a chrysanthemum-shaped base, the hinges and the lock are chiseled and in shibuishi.
