5-Case Gold Lacquer Inro by Kakosai Shozan 19th century

The decor represents a landscape of fishermen crossed by a river against a background of mountains and cranes in flight. The gold lacquer work is particularly fine with several shades in takamaki-e and hiramaki-e and reflections in brown and gold hirame. The interior of the cases is in Nashiji. Some small usual wear.
