Monumental sculpture of Hercules Farnese, sculpture of classicism in spelter by the artist Moritz Geiss Berlin 1840-1850
Very well known artist who worked for K. Friedrich Schinkel, Christian Daniel Rauch and Gottfried Schadow and many other world famous artists of the time.

He did much of the work of the electors and kings of Prussia at the time.
Already in the 1820s Moritz Geiss developed the process of producing sculptures entirely from spelter.

Since 1832 Geiss has worked in his father's foundry in Berlin in
Oranienburger Tor.
Moritz Geiss has participated in several exhibitions with the revolutionary Zinc processing technique.
